Stunning but incredibly easy bar trick, where you command a sauce sachet to rise and fall, inside a sealed bottle at your command with a simple waving of your hand. This is a great pub trick and is a good icebreaker or betcha prank.

The pub grub sachet starts off at the top of the plastic bottle.
Sauce sachet starts of floating at top of water filled plastic bottle.
A gentle downwards motion, signals the pub grub sachet to sink to the bottom.
A downward hand motion, commands the sauce sachet to sink to the bottom. of the bottle.
An upwards hand motion commands the sachet to rise and hold its position, suspended in the middle of the bottle.<empty>
An upward hand motion, beckons the sauce sachet to rise, stopping at any level at your command.

Items Needed: A clear plastic bottle such as a soft drinks or mineral water one. You will also need a condiment sachet, such as ketchup, steak sauce, mustard e.t.c. these are usually readily available in any pub serving bar meals or from fast food outlets

So, Whats The Secret?

1) Remove the label from the bottle so that it.can be seen through easily.

2) Fill the bottle, near to the top with cold tap water.

3) Insert the sauce sachet into the bottle, it should float at the top of the bottle.Then put the top back on the bottle.

4) Holding the base of the bottle, as if to steady it, apply gentle squeezing pressure to the base. This will cause the pressure inside the bottle to increase, causing the sachet to float slowly downwards. Releasing the grip on the bottle will allow the sachet to float upwards.

5) To make the sachet stop in the middle of the bottle, you need to apply just the right amount of pressure, this can be found with practice.

The great thing about this pub trick is the audience are completely unaware of the technique as their attention is drawn to the motions of your other hand, beckoning the sachet to rise and fall at will. Throw in some amusing banter about how you discovered your levitation powers, blah blah blah e.t.c.and you have a great impromtu levitation bar trick, easy to do and materials readily available in any pub grub serving establishment.
